Yes, I admit that I occasionally watch “Khloe & Lamar”…by occassionally I obviously mean religiously every Sunday evening. Sorry, I’m not sorry. What I actually am sorry about is that “Lam Lam” (as Khloe refers to him in her ever so annoying baby-talk voice) is done for the season. It was a shocker when the Lakers traded him in the first place, but it was sadly not a shocker that he could never really find his footing in Dallas. For the defending champs who had their line-up set and centered around Dirk, everyone knew it would be difficult for Odom to establish a role or even learn his role at all.
Lenny Dysktra Back in Pinstripes

Former Mets outfielder Lenny Dykstra made the final out of the game yesterday as a Los Angeles judge sentenced him to three years behind bars for grand-theft auto and filing a false financial statement.
Dykstra, a 1986 World Series standout, who starred for both the Mets and Phillies in a 12 year MLB career, tried to take an extra base on Judge Cynthia Ulfig a curve, asking her to let him withdraw a plea of “no contest,’’ but she insisted his leasing of expensive cars from dealers by providing bogus information and claiming credit through phony businesses showed sophistication and planning.
Dan Brian is Gay
“I’m Gay.” Well, not me, (not that there’s anything wrong with that) but that’s what Dan Brian told his mom. So what you say, that happens every day in homes everywhere throughout the world. True, but not like this as Dan decided to do it publicly in a national forum.
“Finally got the strength to come to my mom…” Brian writes on his YouTube page. “I decided to post this so that I could share my experience with you. Hopefully it will be an inspiration to those who do not have such supportive families.”
Not that I have much of a life, but I’m not into reality programming. Somehow watching other people live just doesn’t do anything for me. For those of you who are however, here you go… Way to go Danny!… or not depending on your stance on these things….

Jimmy Fallon Does it Again: Pearl Jam’s “Jeremy Linsantity”
If you loved Jimmy Fallon’s Tebowie, you’re in for another treat. Personally I have never been a huge Pearl Jam or Jimmy Fallon fan, but this is pure comedy greatness. Jeremy Lin has become such a media giant and he has now sparked one of the best late-night musical spoofs ever. Adam Sandler may have done the best Eddie Vedder impression ever, but Fallon slam dunks it here. One of his better moments for sure. I’m starting to wish I had more time for late night TV!

Super Bowl XLVI & Van Halen On My Mind
I bet you thought I’d be writing about the Giants and the Patriots advancing to Super Bowl XLVI today. Those were certainly two great NFL Conference Championship games yesterday. You’ll be reading articles for two weeks about Lee Evans not holding onto the game winning TD, Billy Cundiff choking like he was waterboarded, and all kinds of reasons why the Baltimore Ravens should be in the Super Bowl instead of the Pats.
The San Francisco 49ers fans have plenty of reasons to say “what if” this morning too. Hey, maybe Kyle Williams and Billy Cundiff should do a book tour thing? It worked for Armando Galarraga and Jim Joyce. It worked for Bobby Thompson and Ralph Branca too. I know those were in the same game, but has there ever been two guys on suicide watch the morning after Conference Championship Sunday like today?

Recently one of our loyal readers, Big Al from Montclair, NJ, tried to convince me that modeling (specifically walking down a runway in a bikini) was a sport. Is it really? Big Al’s argument is as follows:
- Like in sports, the models have to be in shape.
- Like in sports, fans pay to attend the events.
- Like in sports, models come out in a uniform (Hey the Oregon football team changes their uniforms every time they go on the field.)
- Like in sports, models get paid based on how popular they are and the demand for people to watch them do their thing.
- Like in sports, they sell the team apparel the models wear in stores.

Meet the cast of Baseball Wives, the new show that debut on VH1 Wednesday. Television is now filled with estrogen filled “Wives” shows. You can’t turn on the TV without seeing a “Housewives” show from one city/state or another, I’ve lost track on how many different ones they’ve had already. Orange County; New York City; Atlanta; New Jersey; Beverly Hills, Miami; did I miss any?
This new Baseball Wives show is a spinoff of Basketball Wives and the star of the show is none other than the electrifying craziest baseball wife of all, Anna Benson. Yes that’s right, the same stripper and former Playboy model Anna Benson that created a furor in 2005 when she expressed her thoughts about infidelity, telling Howard Stern and millions of listeners on the air that she would sleep with all of her husband Kris’ New York Mets teammates if he cheated on her.

We all have our heroes, the people that drive us to dream and strive for greatness. When I was growing up, it was Ace Frehley, the original lead guitarist for KISS. I was a major KISS fan, and today I am still a card-carrying member of the KISS Army. Yes, I actually do have a numbered card in my wallet.
KISS was more than just a band, they were a way of life, a positive beacon for a young man who was searching for answers. They showed their fans that you can always be unique and reach for the highest goals in life. Be your own person and never apologize for it. I always loved all four original members of KISS, for different reasons, and with Ace, it was about him always following his heart and being a survivor.
So when I was presented with the opportunity to interview Ace in early November, it was a great honor and pleasure. I strongly believe my pursuit of a Fantasy Sports career was spurred by the KISS messages of shooting for whatever you want in life, and believing in yourself no matter what the odds were. Of course, this was also an opportunity to give something back to Ace. I had always been a fan of his solo work as well, and was excited to receive a copy of his new memoirs “No Regrets”, a highly compelling new read for any rock and roll fan. So the chance to spread the word about his new book on Sirius XM Fantasy Sports Radio, on the RotoExperts morning show, was an undertaking I enjoyed greatly.
